A high-performing Australian funds management business is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its established distribution team, driving continued momentum across wholesale and wealth channels.
The firm has experienced significant growth over recent years, underpinned by outstanding and consistent fund performance, increasing adviser adoption, and a highly regarded investment capability.
The Role
Working as part of an existing distribution team, this role will focus on expanding and deepening relationships across key wholesale and wealth segments throughout Sydney and Victoria.
Coverage will include:
Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs)
Dealer groups and licensees
Family offices
Research houses and investment consultants
You will represent the firm’s equity strategies in market, support adviser education, and contribute to ongoing inflows across a well-established client base.
Key Responsibilities
Support adviser engagement through meetings, presentations, and ongoing relationship management
Partner closely with internal distribution and investment teams
Identify new opportunities within existing and target accounts
Maintain strong CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline
Manage and grow wholesale and wealth relationships across NSW and VIC
About You
Prior experience in a funds management distribution role is essential
Exposure to wholesale and/or wealth channels
A genuine interest in equities and comfort discussing investment philosophy and performance
Commercial, well-organised, and relationship-driven
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience within distribution and/or sales
