Our client is a private equity backed business undergoing an exciting period of transformation and growth. With a strong management team in place and ambitious expansion plans, the company is now seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the CEO and private equity investors in driving strategy, performance, and value creation.
The Role
The CFO will play a critical leadership role, overseeing all aspects of finance and providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for building a scalable finance function, managing external relationships, and ensuring the business is positioned for both organic and acquisition-led growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Partner with the CEO and private equity investors to shape and execute the growth strategy.
Drive operational improvements and establish best practice processes, systems, and controls.
Lead financing initiatives, including debt facilities and capital structuring.
Provide commercial insights to support strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and value creation plans.
Manage relationships with investors, lenders, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, aligned to the growth journey of the business.
About You
Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader (Financial Controller / Head of Finance) within a PE-backed, high-growth, or transformation environment.
Strong technical finance and commercial skills, with the ability to manage detail while driving strategy.
Experience in managing debt facilities, cash flow, and corporate structuring.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence boards, investors, and management teams.
Hands-on, pragmatic style, suited to working in a lean, fast-paced environment.
