A private credit fund is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the assessment, structuring and execution of real estate lending transactions up to $50 million.
The Role
The role will focus on credit analysis and due diligence, working closely with senior investment professionals across the full deal lifecycle.
This role suits a detail-oriented analyst looking to deepen their expertise in real estate credit within a hands-on private credit environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse new real estate lending opportunities, including borrower, sponsor and asset-level risk assessment
Build and review financial models, cash flow forecasts and sensitivity analysis
Prepare detailed credit papers, investment memoranda and approval submissions
Conduct due diligence, including review of valuations, feasibility studies, QS reports and PCG assessments
Assist with structuring loan terms, covenants and security packages
Support transaction execution, including coordination with legal, valuation and technical advisors
Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring, covenant testing and reporting
Maintain up-to-date credit files and internal documentation
About You
Experience in credit analysis, real estate lending, private credit, commercial banking or structured finance
Strong financial analysis and modelling capability
Solid understanding of real estate finance and credit risk principles
Exposure to development or construction lending highly regarded
High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Property, Economics, Business or a related discipline
