Our client is a growing alternatives investment manager with a diverse portfolio across private credit, real assets, and infrastructure. With strong institutional backing and a track record of performance, the firm is expanding its finance function to support continued growth. They are now seeking a Finance Manager to oversee fund accounting, reporting, and financial operations across a range of investment vehicles.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of fund accounting and investor reporting. You will work closely with the CFO and investment teams to ensure accurate fund performance reporting, compliance, and financial control. The position offers exposure across multiple fund structures and the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and system enhancements as the platform scales.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end fund accounting process across multiple funds and investment vehicles.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management and investor reports.
• Oversee fund performance calculations, valuations, and reconciliations.
• Liaise with external administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Support the CFO in cash flow management, capital activity, and audit processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and control frameworks.
About You
• CA/CPA qualified with 5–8 years’ experience in fund accounting, financial control, or audit.
• Background in funds management, private equity, private credit, or real assets preferred.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience liaising with fund administrators and managing audits.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident communicating with senior stakeholders.
