A Melbourne-based private credit investment manager, backed by a significant and well-known investment group, is seeking an experienced Head of Distribution to lead and scale its capital raising function as the business enters a major growth phase.

The Role
This is a senior, commercially critical role with full ownership of distribution strategy, investor relationships, and capital raising outcomes across Australia. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for building and executing the firm’s national distribution strategy across wholesale and institutional channels.
Key Responsibilities
Leading capital raising for existing and future private credit strategies
Owning senior relationships across private wealth, advised groups, family offices, institutions, and intermediaries
Defining and executing distribution strategy, channel focus, and growth priorities
Partnering closely with the investment team on product positioning, investor materials, and launches
Representing the firm with credibility in high-level investor meetings and market forums
Building and scaling the distribution function as AUM grows
About You
10+ years’ experience in funds management distribution or capital raising
Demonstrated success raising capital across wholesale and/or institutional channels
Strong understanding of private credit, structured credit, or alternative investment strategies
Established investor network across Australia
Commercial, outcome-focused mindset with the ability to operate strategically and hands-on
Executive presence and credibility with CIOs, ICs, advisers, and sophisticated investors
