A growing private credit fund is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the origination, structuring and execution of real estate–backed lending transactions up to $50 million.
The Role
The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on new deals from initial screening through to settlement.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically strong professional looking to build deep expertise in real estate private credit, with hands-on involvement in transactions and direct exposure to borrowers, brokers and advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Support the origination and assessment of new real estate lending opportunities
Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow, sensitivity and downside analysis
Assist in structuring lending solutions across senior, stretch and mezzanine facilities
Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including review of valuations, feasibility studies, QS reports and PCG assessments
Prepare investment memoranda, credit papers and materials for investment committee
Support transaction execution, including coordination with legal, valuation and technical advisors
Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting post-settlement
Maintain market awareness across real estate sectors and private credit trends
About You
Experience in real estate lending, private credit, investment banking, commercial banking or structured finance
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Solid understanding of real estate finance structures and cash flow lending principles
Exposure to construction or development lending and associated due diligence highly regarded
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Commercial mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Property, Business or a related discipline
