We are working with a highly regarded Australian private equity firm that specialises in backing and scaling mid-market businesses. With strong momentum and an active investment pipeline, the firm is seeking a Vice President to play a senior role across deal execution and portfolio growth.
The Role
As Vice President, you will lead end-to-end execution on new investments, from origination through to close. You will take a front-seat role with portfolio companies, partnering with management teams to drive strategy and operational initiatives. The role also offers exposure to fundraising and investor engagement at a senior level, with a clear pathway to Director-level responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Lead execution of new investments, from origination to completion.
Drive portfolio company growth, strategy, and operational initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with management teams and investors.
Contribute to fundraising and broader firm development initiatives.
Support origination efforts and pipeline development in the mid-market.
About You
7–10 years’ experience, with prior private equity investing required.
Strong transaction background (private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting).
Proven ability to deliver growth and value creation through portfolio company engagement.
Commercially sharp, resilient, and comfortable working autonomously.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of deals and outcomes.
